Juha Riipi, CEO of N Rent, has got acquainted with JLG's lifts for the first time 30 years ago. Riipi, who has had a long career specifically with lifts, has followed the development of various brands very closely and when he went to pilot N Rent a few years ago, the choice of brands in the Moonwalker class was quite clear. "In rental shop use, JLG's clearest advantage is that the operating principles and controls of the different models are clear and always located in the same places. This makes the introduction of guidance significantly easier for both us and the customer, " Riipi says. "Whether we take the largest or smallest model from the line, with a telescope or a Z-boom, the logic is the same. Some have more features than others, but the basics can always be found in the same places and extras are up close. So when you learn the basics, you can drive any JLG, " he continues.

The meter is closed and the machine tells you a fault code. The machines are familiar and spare parts can be found quickly on the shelf, so our own or Rotator service can solve the problems quickly. The heel height is a staggering 56.57 meters and the horizontal reach is 24.38 meters. The load capacity can be turned to either 226 kg or 453 kg by turning the switch, in the latter case the lifting range is limited in certain respects.

The engine is a 3.6-liter Deutz that meets the latest Tier IV Final emissions regulations. Supporting this, N Rent has also ended up using Neste's Green Diesel in its machines, which reduces carbon monoxide and emissions. "It has worked completely without any problems and especially for indoor customers these emissions issues are relevant today. For example, when working on the ceiling, rising emissions are a bad thing and we want to be involved in reducing them. The new engines and this fuel are a really good combination, " says Kai Väänänen.
